Becky Smith, PEMs. Smith is an experienced engineering manager with fourteen years of experience in construction management, maintenance engineering, environmental compliance, and service contracts. Her experience with Project Controls includes analyzing contractor schedules for progress, potential delays, and opportunities for improvement using Primavera and Microsoft Project; generating conceptual schedules; interpretation of specification and contract requirements; and development of estimates for and negotiation of change orders.
Steve Long, PE
Mr. Long has a diverse background in civil engineering that includes highway, rail, aviation, light rail and drainage projects. He is experienced in all phases of a project from environmental compliance and planning through preparing final construction documents and providing construction management. Specializing in complex multimillion dollar, multidisciplinary projects, he brings expertise in constructability and risk assessment to projects of all types and sizes. In addition, he has been a senior representative on value engineering studies throughout the Denver Front Range and the western United States.
Clifford (Kip) Coulter, PE
Mr. Coulter is a senior structural engineer specializing in complex bridge and transportation projects for David Evans and Associates, Inc. He has more than 40 years of experience in transportation and structural engineering and has managed a variety of projects for clients in Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, California, and Washington. His clients have included the Federal Government, state departments of transportation, municipalities, railroad companies, light rail transit agencies, and private entities. His structural design experience includes significant light rail projects in Denver and the Pacific Northwest, complemented by heavy rail structural experience. He has managed numerous structural projects of all types in Colorado over his past 23 years of practice in this state.
Paul Greco, PE
Mr. Greco is a bridge engineer for David Evans and Associates Inc. with more than 16 years of design experience with an emphasis on bridge designs for large and small-scale transportation projects. His experience includes bridges for extensive roadway and highway projects and frame analysis and girder design for a four-mile monorail system. Mr. Greco also has diverse experience in concrete design including pre-cast, post-tensioned and spliced concrete structures, as well as cast-in-place box girder bridges. Additional experience includes the design of curved and straight steel-plate girder bridges including unique slant-leg structures and trusses, pedestrian facilities including pedestrian bridges and pedestrian tunnels, and a variety of miscellaneous structures including box culverts and all types of retaining walls including MSE walls and cast-in-place concrete walls.
Perry Palmer, RLA
Perry Palmer is a landscape architect and project manager with 15 years of experience. His professional career has allowed him to work on a wide variety of projects that are very diverse. His experience includes large scale master planning, parks and linear trails, sport complexes, corridor enhancements, site planning, bridge enhancements and fountain design. His design approach is comprehensive, natural and context sensitive, realistic and meets the needs of the project. Perry has a proven track record of organizing and directing multi-disciplined, multi-office teams on difficult and fast-paced projects.
Jerry Adamson, RLA
Mr. Adamson has over 35 years of experience in landscape architecture design, stormwater and SWMP design elements, aesthetic design treatments and restoration techniques. He is highly experienced in the administration and management of private sector and governmental projects. His knowledge includes all aspects of project management from the early stages of planning through construction management and project closeout. His experience includes parks and recreation master planning, site design, trail planning and design, transportation corridor enhancement design, mitigation monitoring, construction document preparation and construction administration. In addition, his expertise includes QA/QC administration, project estimating, field observation, grant application preparation and permit process assistance.
Jon Blake, PE
Mr. Blake has more than 22 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering. His experience includes a diverse background in project management, civil design, and construction observation on a wide variety of transit, transportation, aviation, civil/site, telecommunication, and landfill projects. He has a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget. In addition to his technical skills, Mr. Blake's enthusiastic approach and coordination skills have continued to win over clients throughout his career.
Gary Leak, PLS
Mr. Leak brings over 20 years of experience in land surveying, mapping and right-of-way projects. He has managed multiple projects for various Denver area cities, counties, utility associations, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Mr. Leak is very familiar with performing ALTA/ACSM land title surveys and the preparation of subsequent subdivision plats, rezoning and annexation documents for commercial development projects. He has been responsible for managing survey teams involved in control and mapping projects, the preparation of plan sets to CDOT and FHWA standards, and preparing legal descriptions and exhibits for the acquisition of easements and right-of-way. He combines his extensive experience in boundary surveying with an understanding of the rights of real property owners.
Mike Grant, CET
Mr. Grant is a civil designer with experience in the design of highways, roadways, and related structures and plan preparation for numerous transportation projects. He is also an experienced CADD Technician/Designer in roadway and civil design utilizing Bentley Microstation, Inroads, and COGO software. Mr. Grant has a strong background with Colorado Department of Transportation plan preparation and roadway design requirements along with those of various municipalities.
Tonya Anderson - Project Coordinator
Ms. Anderson spent the first 7 years of her career in the Air Force as a Project Manager. Her other employment experience includes Technology Teacher, Data Analyst, and Executive Administrative Assistant. She currently is the Project Coordinator for the FasTracks West Corridor Final Design project.
