Road Closures

Lakewood Sanitary Sewer has intermittent closures along 13th Avenue between Lamar and Carr as they finish up the lateral crossings for their improvements.

The interesection of 13th Avenue and Pierce Street is closed through Wednesday, March 4th.  13th Avenue will reopen during evenings and weekends.

The intersection of 13th Avenue and Quail Street will be closed until Monday March 9, 2009.  This closure will remain in force throughout evening hours.

Earl Johnson Road will be closed between 6th Avenue and 10th Avenue weeknights from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am beginning on March 1, 2009 through March 10, 2009.  The road will re-open each morning at 5:00 am.  Earl Johnson Road will also be closed the weekend of March 14th and 15th for paving activities.  

Denver Transit Construction will be closing Knox Court between 10th Avenue and 13th Avenue from March 9, 2009 through July 31, 2009.  Traffic will be detoured to Perry Street. 

Various other utilities along the corridor may have intermittent lane closures going on through late 2009.  For more detailed information on utility relocations, click here.
