Property Acquisition & Relocation
As RTD's right-of-way division purchases land to accommodate the West Corridor light rail line; vacant properties have been fenced off for demolition. Some of the acquired buildings are currently undergoing environmental inspections and abatement, while several others have been environmentally released and turned over to DTCG for demolition. Several buildings on the east side of Wadsworth Blvd. have been demolished and the rest will follow in mid 2010.
