PI Activities During Final Design

There were a number of ways to stay informed and involved during the West Corridor's Final Design phase of the project. 

Public Meetings
Public meetings were held periodically during the project to keep the community informed of major milestones.  To see details regarding these meetings, click here.

Urban Design Committee
The Urban Design Committee was formed to look at station elements along the West Corridor. Everyone was welcome to participate. To see details regarding the Urban Design Committee meetings that were held during Final Design, click here

E-Newsletters
Starting in June 2006, RTD began a monthly e-newsletter that is sent to anyone interested in keeping up to date on the project. Neighborhood or special interest meetings
If you are interested in having a project representative speak to your group about the West Corridor light rail project in general or if you have specific concerns, we are happy to accommodate you. Click to schedule a meeting.

Stakeholder Meetings
The RTD Technical team met with staff members from Denver, Lakewood, Golden, Jeffco and GSA on a monthly basis to discuss progress and status of the project and give everyone the opportunity to discuss current issues. Click to view more detailed information from the stakeholder meetings.

Monthly Progress Reports
RTD submits monthly progress reports to the Federal Transit Administration to report on activities during the past month.  Click to view past copies of these reports. 

Design Overview Timeline
Based on comments from the community, we established a Design Overview Timeline. This document shows when specific elements that are of interest will be coordinated and worked on by the design team. By using this document you can see when it is most advantageous to give input on specific items. This document is constantly changing.
