Sheridan Value Engineering Proposal

The original plan was for Sheridan Blvd to be raised between 10th and 14th Avenues and for light rail to pass underneath with the station directly below Sheridan Blvd.  The Value Engineering team recommended that Sheridan stay as it currently is and have light rail built on a bridge over the top of Sheridan.

Due to numerous comments from the community and the City of Denver, an agreement has been reached to bring Sheridan back to the 65% design - with light rail under Sheridan Blvd.  The funding for the proposal will come from a combination of Park Mitigation Funds and revisions to the construction traffic management plan.
