Team Members
The RTD Small Business Opportunity Office team is made up of an integrated and cohesive group of RTD staff and consultants working together daily to meet the goals of the office. Each member has a critical role to ensure the RTD vision for the Small Business Opportunity Office (SBOO) is achieved. We'd like to introduce you to the team.
Kenn Hardin leads the team as the RTD Business Opportunity and Outreach Officer. Kenn manages and oversees all outreach and compliance activities and works diligently to outreach to small, minority and women-owned businesses to increase participation on RTD projects. Kenn also advocates for the economic viability and participation of historically underutilized businesses.
Greg Jenifer, with Armand Resource Group, Inc., is responsible for the development and oversight of the FasTracks DBE/SBE workforce compliance program, certification services, DBE/SBE goals development, evaluation of bids/proposals, technical assistance and training.
Ron Montoya and Sara Fuentes, with Plasticomm Industries, Inc., provide outreach, technical assistance and workforce compliance for the SBOO. They are responsible for developing and maintaining the Small Business Directory. In addition, Ron and Sara serve as Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Liaisons for the African American Leadership Group, the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado, and the Minority and Women Chambers of Commerce MOUs.
Ty Perry, with Armand Resource Group, Inc., assists with the day-to-day implementation of the FasTracks DBE/SBE program and the workforce compliance monitoring and reporting program as part of the Program Management Consultant (PMC) Project for the FasTracks Program. Ty also provides diversity outreach, training, and technical assistance in the oversight and completion of ongoing and future work on the management and planning program.
Ed Romero and Linda Wilson, co-owners of Romero & Wilson, are responsible for outreach services and community relations to encourage participation of SBEs and DBEs on RTD projects.
Les Townsend, owner of Townsend Management Group, provides outreach, business development, supportive services and community relations liasion services for the FasTracks DBE/SBE and workforce programs. He also provides compliance oversight services for FasTracks Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) with various chambers in the Denver metropolitan area.Reuben Brown, owner of B.W. Architects, provides outreach, business development services, and technical assistance for the FasTracks DBE/SBE and workforce programs. Rueben also assisted with the FasTracks DBE/SBE Program development.
Michael Washington assists with reporting, monitoring and compliance of all SBEs and DBEs.
