Work begins at Nine Mile Station to connect current light rail system to R Line
DENVER, October 7, 2015 - The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will begin tie-in work at the Nine Mile Station for the new R Line this week, which will connect the new rail line to the existing light rail system.

RTD rail service to Denver International Airport will begin April 22, 2016
DENVER, Oct. 22, 2015 - The Regional Transportation District (RTD) received official notice from the project concessionaire, Denver Transit Partners, that the University of Colorado A Line commuter rail service from Denver Union Station to Denver International Airport will be ready for service on April 22, 2016.
Iconic arch installed at Colfax Station on R Line in Aurora
DENVER, October 27, 2015 - A new iconic arch now resides over the Colfax light rail station along the Aurora Line/I-225 Rail project. RTD and I-225 FasTracks partners Kiewit Infrastructure Company, the city of Aurora and the Colorado Department of Transportation installed the 57,000-pound steel arch which will support the center canopy of the elevated station.
More than 30,000 interact with RTD Board member during town hall meetings
DENVER, Oct. 27, 2015-More than 30,000 residents from the eight-county Regional
Transportation District (RTD) participated in the agency's 2015 telephone town hall meetings. The live, interactive forums allowed residents to pose questions to district directors and RTD staff, as well as submit comments and suggestions.
