RTD FasTracks projects included in president's 2016 budget
DENVER, Feb. 2, 2015 - Two of the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) FasTracks projects are identified in President Barrack Obama's Fiscal Year 2016 budget. The President's FY 2016 budget includes $165 million for the Eagle P3 project, which is
building the East Rail Line to the airport, the Gold Line to Arvada/Wheat Ridge and the first segment of the Northwest Rail Line to Westminster. It also includes $92 million for the Southeast Rail Extension project that will extend the Southeast Line to Ridge Gate in Lone Tree.

Four Construction teams chosen to bid on extending Southeast Rail Extension
DENVER, Feb. 3, 2015-Regional Transportation District staff presented a final list of
four teams to its Board of Directors to bid on building out the Southeast Rail Extension. The extension, which is part of RTD's 2004 voter-approved FasTracks plan, will add 2.3 miles from Lincoln Station to RidgeGate Parkway. Seven construction teams had initially responded to the Request for Qualifications.

Overhead wires along East Rail Line powering up
DENVER, CO, Feb. 19, 2015 - The Regional Transportation District (RTD) and its contractor, Denver Transit Partners (DTP), are beginning to turn on the overhead electric power lines along the East Rail Line between Union Station and Denver International Airport in anticipation of a year-long testing program starting this spring.
