Northwest Rail Line is a 41-mile high-capacity, fixed-guideway transit project from Denver Union Station to Longmont, passing through North Denver, Adams County, Westminster, Broomfield, Louisville and Boulder.

The first 6.2-mile segment of the Northwest Rail Line from Denver Union Station to south Westminster (71st Ave. and Lowell Blvd.) is funded as part of the Eagle P3 project. This commuter rail project is scheduled for completion in 2016.

Full Construction Underway

The Northwest Rail Line Westminster segment is in full construction. Please be alert for changing conditions, lane restrictions or road closures.

Northwest Area Mobility Study

The Northwest Area Mobility Study is underway. It started in May 2013. It's a 13-month effort that will develop a prioritized list of mobility improvements for the Northwest area of the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) service area. Follow this link to learn more about the study.

RTD Breaks Ground on Third Eagle Project Rail Line
