Opening Day Parking: 300 spaces
2030 Parking: 525 spaces*
This station platform will be located immediately east of Pecos Street on the south side of the existing BNSF railroad tracks. Parking and bus drop-off will be to the north of the station platform, and a pedestrian bridge will provide access between the parking lot and the station platform.
There are currently two options for this station. The preferred option is capable of serving both the Gold Line and the Northwest Rail line (to Boulder, Longmont and other northwest suburbs on opening day). This option requires Adams County to complete construction of the new bridge that will elevate Pecos Street over the existing BNSF and Union Pacific railroad tracks. The bridge project is currently on schedule to be completed in time for this preferred station option to be built.
The second option (known as Pecos Option A) would only be pursued if there is some unforeseen delay in the construction of the new Pecos bridge. This option is not capable of providing service to Northwest Rail at opening day, due to complex track configurations that would be required if a new bridge over Pecos cannot be built. However, this station could be reconfigured to serve Northwest Rail at a later date after the bridge is completed.

* The Gold Line Team will build sufficient parking to meet the demand at each station. In order to avoid unnecessarily overbuilding parking at opening day, RTD will build enough parking to meet initial demand and monitor the capacity of each park-n-Ride to determine when additional parking is needed. The 2030 numbers reflect the projected future parking demand at each station.
