B Line, Westminster Station transform cityThe new train station for the B Line commuter rail is the centerpiece of transformation for an entire part of the city of Westminster.
What the city has created around the Westminster Station is remarkable and will attract people from all over the Denver region. "This particular station will absolutely transform the entire area around it," city of Westminster Senior Project Engineer John Burke said.
The B Line opens July 25 and it will connect Westminster with Union Station in downtown Denver. The 11-minute ride will give thousands of people a new, fast, safe and reliable option to travel between northwest metro Denver and downtown.
The videos are all about the Westminster Station. The one above is from RTD and it's focus is on construction and function of the train station itself.
The one below is from the city of Westminster and it focuses on how the area around the station is being changed and developed. The details are impressive--right down to the smooth, large boulders that are used in the creek.
