Northwest Rail Governments Team

In order to incorporate the feedback and input of local communities along the Northwest Rail Line into the planning process, RTD worked closely with the Northwest Rail Governments Team (NWRGT) on an on-going basis. Overall, the NWRGT provided an important mechanism for communicating the interests, concerns and ideas of the communities along the corridor to the Project Team and RTD decision makers.

The Northwest Rail Governments Team representatives:
  • Considered public input

  • Discussed local and corridor-wide issues

  • Considered recommendations proposed by RTD

  • Represented the interests of the corridor communities and agencies

  • Served as a communication bridge between RTD and the corridor communities

  • Provided direct and timely input to RTD
