The North Metro Rail Line is an 18.5-mile commuter rail line that will run from Denver Union Station through Commerce City, Thornton and Northglenn to Highway 7 in North Adams County. It will open from Union Station to 124th • Eastlake. That is the segment of the map that is in red.
It will be built from 124th to 162nd • State Hwy. 7 when RTD identifies funding for that part of the project. It is depicted in green on the map.

Click on the light blue train logos to see photos and information about each station along the North Metro Rail Line.
Click on the purple flags to see photos and information about points of interest along the route.
Here are what the different colored lines on the train route represent:
- Red: Planned route
- Green: Planned route to be built when funding identified
- Dark Blue: Skyway Bridge - at over 9,000 feet will be Colorado's longest bridge
