As part of the voter-approved FasTracks program, the North Metro Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will identify the best way to provide a high-quality, reliable, high-capacity, fixed guideway transit service for the area while improving travel times and enhancing access to jobs, recreation and entertainment.
A special sub-component effort called the "Northeast Area Strategy" will investigate alignment and station/park-n-Ride opportunities for future high-capacity transit between downtown Denver and Brighton. More on that effort will be posted as soon as it is available.
Public input is crucial to the success of the North Metro EIS. We encourage you to use this site to learn about the project, and we welcome your comments and feedback.
