RTD FasTracks breaks ground on North Metro RailRTD FasTracks and its primary contractor Regional Rail Partners (RRP) broke ground on the North Metro Rail Line on March 20, 2014, the first day of spring.

RTD board approves contract for North Metro RailThe RTD Board of Directors approved a $343 million contract award Nov. 26 to Graham, Balfour Beatty, Hamon Constructors (GBBH) to design and build the North Metro Rail Line to 124th Avenue. Read More.
RTD's small business program exceeding goalsSmall and disadvantaged business opportunities are reaching beyond the established goals set on many of the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) contracts. RTD has exceeded its contracting targets for many small and disadvantaged contractors and subcontractors with awards totaling $480 million on base system and FasTracks projects such as the West Rail Line, Union Station in Denver, the I-225 Light Rail Line and the Eagle P3 commuter rail project.
