RTD FasTracks Program Recognized for Visionary Approach to Document and Project Management - System saves money and time - September 2011
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has been awarded by Constructech magazine for the successful implementation of an innovative technology to manage project documents and correspondence for its FasTracks projects. As part of Constructech's Vision Awards, RTD won the Team Award for its use of the Aconex web-based platform for document and information management. To read news release click here. U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Federal Transit Administration Administrator Peter Rogoff officially awarded the Regional Transportation District (RTD) a $1.03 billion Full Funding Grant Agreement (FFGA) to help build two rail lines in the FasTracks transit expansion program. A special signing ceremony was followed by the groundbreaking for the Gold Line at the site of the future Olde Town Arvada rail station.
